PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Kendi was born and raised in Wawa, Ontario. She completed an undergraduate degree in
Speech and Language Pathology, followed by a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at the
University of Ottawa School of Rehabilitation.
Kendi was originally planning to return to Northern Ontario to settle down and start her career,
but made the decision to stay in the Ottawa area where it would be easier to participate in
courses and continue her education. Since starting at West Physio in 2018 Kendi has taken
courses with various topics including Concussion Management, Acupuncture/Dry needling,
Knee and Hip Osteoarthritis, the McKenzie method specializing in the lumbar spine, as well as
Manual Therapy.
Kendi is currently treating patients of all ages and activity levels in both french and english at the
Carp location, as well as virtually. She has work experience in treating acute and chronic
musculoskeletal conditions, and patients having sustained workplace or motor vehicle accident
injuries.
Outside of work, Kendi enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors, as well as
reading a good novel or listening to music. She can also often be found in the kitchen
experimenting with new baking projects.
