Barb Conlon – PTA

Barb was born and raised in the Almonte area and after 30 years of working in an administration roll for various industries, went back to school.  In 2015 she graduated with Honours from the OTA/PTA program enabling her to work as an assistant to either a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.  Moving from Kingston to Arnprior, Barb joined West Physio in August of 2015.   She works with the physio team to complete various aspects of a clients’ treatment from modalities to mobility exercises.  This occupation provides Barb with a sense of joy and accomplishment.

She is the proud mother of one son and the happy grandmother to two grandsons.  Barb moved back to the family farm in 2016 to be moral support to her 90-year-old parents.  When you can’t find Barb at the clinic, you will find her happily in the kitchen, barn or bush.  She enjoys gardening, crafts, cooking, cross-country skiing, curling, hiking and dabbles in photography.
